Obituary of Enrico 'Rick' Renzo Marcantonio

MARCANTONIO, Enrico Renzo 'Rick' - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Enrico 'Rick' Marcantonio. He leaves behind his life long partner Vivian, her daughter Joanne, and their cherished cats. Rick is predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Angiolina Marcantonio, and his younger brother John 'Joe' Marcantonio. Rick leaves behind his siblings Antonio (Natalina), Lou (Emma), Mary and her partner Ernie, his sister-in-law Kelly and his youngest brother Albert (Lori-Ann). Rick will be missed by his many nieces and nephews whom he spoiled tremendously throughout their childhoods.

Rick was a kind, gentle soul who was generous with his time for all of his family, especially the children. Rick spent his childhood in his hometown of Limosano, Italy. Playing with his brothers, climbing trees and thinking about fast cars. He made the journey to Canada as a teenager. He spent his working years serving the Italian community. While working on his constant quest for knowledge with frequent trips to the library. During his retirement he and Vivian would pass the time going on picnics and being outdoors.

Rick was always feeding his many nieces and nephews new foods that he invented. He often brought nieces and nephews on adventures. Swimming, parks, the library. Whatever the kids wanted he gave them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In his famous last words "okay, bye".
